Sausage Pizza with Caramelized Onions & Honey Mustard Drizzle

Ingredients
- 12” HRI Classic Sausage Pizza
- ½ large yellow onion
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp mustard of choice, whole grain Dijon recommended
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Pinch of sea salt
Directions
- Preheat a skillet with 1 tablespoon olive oil to medium-low heat. Slice the yellow onion into thin disks and add to the skillet with a pinch of sea salt
- Remove pizza from all packaging
- Stirring occasionally, cook the onions until they are jammy and deeply caramelized, about 45-60 minutes. Note: reduce heat if onions begin to crisp at any point
- Once caramelized, remove from the heat and set aside
- Preheat the oven to 450˚F
- Place pizza in the oven directly on the oven rack and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown
- Meanwhile, whisk together the honey, mustard, and remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil until the mixture is combined
- Once the pizza is cooked, remove from the oven, distribute the caramelized onions evenly over the pizza, and drizzle with honey mustard dressing
- Cut into squares, and enjoy!
